Management President/Executive Director Dr. Wilson assumed the position of President/Executive Director of Schools for Children, Inc. in 1988. Prior to that, he directed the V.F.W. National Home, a residential children's facility in central Michigan where he reported to a national Board. He has worked within the residential field since 1973, holding positions at the Christ Child Institute for Children, a psychiatric treatment facility in Maryland, and the Baptist Home for Children, also in Maryland. Dr. Wilson has served on a variety of task forces and professional boards in Maryland, Michigan and Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Yale College and his Masters and Doctorate at the University of Maryland. Dr. Wilson holds certification as a social worker and is nationally certified as a fundraising executive. Treasurer Mr. Britt joined the Schools for Children, Inc. as Treasurer in 1988, following a term as a voluntary Trustee. He has over 20 years experience in all phases of financial management in service, manufacturing, research and development and educational environments. Prior to joining this staff, Mr. Britt was the Treasurer/Controller for Koch Membrane Systems, an international company. Tom had an early involvement in education, teaching in Boston and Arlington Public Schools. He holds a Bachelors Degree and MBA from Suffolk University and a Masters in Education from Boston University. Tom holds Massachusetts certification as a School Business Manager and Superintendent.
