Approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education as a Ch.
766 day school "with a maritime flavor," Seaport Campus
is a small, alternative high school located in the historic
Charlestown Navy Yard. It is a program that integrates academics
with hands-on learning experiences within a maritime setting.
Seaport limits its enrollment to 18-22 students at one time, so
the students can receive as much individual attention as they
require.
Its 198-day school year offers a unique summer program, "Fifth Term," which features concentrated academic programs for making up lost credits and vocational/career exploration classes. Its activity-based focus allows us to provide unique summer recreational activities that promote social and academic success while allowing students more chances to generalize the interpersonal skills they are mastering. |
