  Who We Are
Seaport Campus, a small, therapeutic day school beside Boston Harbor in Charlestown, MA, is a collaborative, flexible community that supports the needs and aspirations of its students. Seaport understand the true needs of each student, focusing efforts on “non-traditional” areas of learning such as interpersonal communication, personal organization, social skills and relationship building. The school's use of new technology initiatives allows students to integrate their learning while exploring cutting edge means of communication

Seaport provides an activity-based curriculum centered on five core academic classes and a variety of required and elective activities that take advantage of the maritime setting. Seaport Campus also provides opportunities for students to gain a deeper understanding of the world through hands-on experiential learning.

Seaport's teachers have developed a curriculum that both adheres to the Massachusetts curriculum frameworks and is mindful of the need for students to relate learning to real world applications. Faculty members collaborate to create cross-curriculum projects that take advantage of the opportunities the maritime setting affords.

The successful transition to adult life is a universal goal; Seaport's academic offerings and therapeutic opportunities support this goal. In addition, the small, structured classrooms encourage students to achieve their educational goals while developing the close personal relationships with peers and staff that help them become independent, successful adults and lifelong learners.
