At Seaport Campus,
we believe that all students can learn and be successful. We strive to recognize and work
with the individual needs of each student and support him or her in developing cognitive,
social, and emotional potential. The Seaport faculty works as a team with the students and
their families to address and make progress on the goals that have been mutually established.
Through active and relevant learning both in the academic classes and maritime activities, students
learn knowledge and skills that help them mature and gain responsibility. By making learning come
alive, the Seaport faculty works to foster students' growth and development into lifelong learning.
By setting clear and high expectations for our students, we see meaningful progress in both behavioral
and academic areas. By aligning the curriculum to the Massachusetts Frameworks, we give students the
best opportunity to meet the Commonwealth's strict graduation requirements.
